On Tuesday 26 November 2019, at the twenty-third meeting of the Subsidiary Body on Scientific, Technical and Technological Advice (SBSTTA 23), UNDP, UNEP and CBD will co-host a side event on Using Spatial Data to Develop and Implement the post-2020 Global Biodiversity Framework: Best Practices from around the World. The side event will be hosted from 13:15pm to 14:45pm, Room 7 B, 3rd Floor, ICAO.
During this side event, we will discuss the use of spatial data by Parties in preparing their Sixth National Reports, and will learn three countries' best practices on maps and spatial data - respectively Costa Rica, Malawi, and China.
This side event is an occasion to exchange with spatial data experts and the implementing agencies; but most importantly, you will have the chance to exchange with your peers and learn from their experience. Do not miss that chance!
