The Integrated Biodiversity Assessment Tool - IBAT for Research and Conservation Planning is an innovative tool designed to facilitate access to a range of global and national data layers for non-commercial use.
It presents information on species from The IUCN Red List of Threatened Species™, Protected Areas from the World Database on Protected Areas (WDPA) and on Key Biodiversity Areas (KBAs) from the World Database of Key Biodiversity Areas.
IBAT provides integrated information at the site scale – at the level of individual protected areas or biodiversity designations which are fine-scale management units. It also provides information on large scale biodiversity prioritisation approaches and globally threatened species.
