Pradeep Kumar Dubey is a senior research fellow at Institute of Environment & Sustainable Development, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. His key research interest lies in exploring sustainable agricultural practices for food, nutritional and livelihood security. Specifically, he is interested in low external input sustainable agriculture (LEISA), climate resilient, resource conserving agricultural practices, Nature- based solutions (NbS) and Ecosystem based Adaptation (EbA) for land-soil management and agri-environmental sustainability. His work engagements are in merit for United Nation Sustainable Development Goals. He is selected United Nations IPBES Fellow for Nexus Assessment (Interlinkages among Biodiversity, Water, Food and Health), since Jan 21, 2022 for next three years. He is recipient of Special Recognition Award and Young Scientist Award from Agroecosystem Specialist Group of IUCN-CEM. He is serving as member for three commission of IUCN (CEC, CEM, CEESP); Asia pacific Networks for Global change research, Japan (APN); International society for development & sustainability (ISDS), Japan; Global Academy working on Global Goals; Global Soil Biodiversity Initiative (GSBI); and Global Land Programme (GLP). He is Lead Author in Springer Nature Book on ‘Adaptive Agricultural Practices, building resilience under changing climate’; Managing Editor, Climate Change and Environmental Sustainability journal (ISSN 2320-642X), a Journal from India; Assistant Editor of the new journal ‘Anthropocene Science’ (ISSN 2731-3980, Springer Nature, Switzerland) addressing human impact on the Resilience of the Planet Earth.
